The LAMY Joy is something more expressive than everyday writing begins. Designed by Wolfgang Fabian, the mind behind the iconic Safari, the Joy takes that same ergonomic confidence and channels it into a pen built specifically for calligraphy. It is, quite genuinely, a joy to write with.
The flat-edged polished steel stub nib varies in line width depending on the direction of the pen, producing the thick downstrokes and thin crossstrokes that give calligraphy its character. Available individually in 1.1mm, 1.5mm, and 1.9mm, there is a Joy for every kind of expressive writing, from careful detail work to bold, sweeping lettering.
The pen ships with a LAMY T10 blue cartridge, with the LAMY Z28 converter available for bottled ink.
