The LAMY Z28 is the official piston converter engineered by LAMY for their most popular fountain pen families, including the Safari, AL-Star, Joy, Lx, and Nexx. Where ink cartridges lock you into a handful of colors, this converter lets you draw from the enormous universe of bottled fountain pen inks.
Precision-Fit Design
Unlike generic converters, the Z28 features two proprietary pegs that click directly into the grooves inside compatible LAMY pen barrels, creating a firm, rattle-free, leak-resistant seal.
Simple Piston Filling
Submerge the nib in your chosen bottled ink, twist the distinctive red knob, and draw ink up into the clear reservoir. The transparent body lets you monitor your ink level at a glance so you're never caught dry mid-sentence.
