The LAMY Z27 is the official piston converter for LAMY's sophisticated upper-tier fountain pens, including the Aion, Studio, CP1, Scala, Accent, Logo, Dialog, Imporium, and ST. It also works across the widest range of compatible LAMY models of any converter the brand makes, making it an essential spare part for any serious LAMY collector.
Near-Universal LAMY Compatibility
The Z27 can be accepted by all LAMY cartridge/converter filling pens and is typically included with higher-end LAMY pens like the Aion, CP1, Scala, and Studio. Unlike the Z28, it has no retaining pegs, giving it the slim profile needed for narrower barrels such as the CP1 and Linea where the Z28 simply will not fit.
Simple Piston Filling
Submerge the nib in your chosen bottled ink, twist the black knob, and draw ink smoothly up into the reservoir. It cleans easily with water between color changes, making ink rotation effortless.
